At PIX 2015 in Seattle, DPReview technical editor Rishi Sanyal sat down with Sony Alpha Product Manager Kenta Honjo for an interview about Sony’s cameras. At about 30m40s in, Sanyal asks: “Is Sony still committed to A-mount?” Honjo’s response: “I want to reassure all A-mount users: we are not quitting A-mount. We are still going to develop.”
Sony UK recently told a customer that there are “no A-mounts planned,” but Honjo’s words should be reassuring to those who are invested in a collection of A-mount lenses.
