A Sneak Peek at the Toolbar Editing Feature Coming to Photoshop

In the next update to Adobe Photoshop CC, you’ll be able to customize the app’s toolbars to optimize the layout for your exact needs.

Photoshop educator Howard Pinsky of IceflowStudios published the 2-minute video above that gives a sneak peek in to how the toolbar editing system works.

We see that there’s going to be a new “Toolbar” option in the Edit dropdown menu.

The toolbar editing screen lets you reorder/regroup the tools in your main toolbar and assign tools/groups to “Extra Tools” (for putting lesser used tools into their own slot at the bottom of the main toolbar):

In addition to reorganizing, regrouping, and relegating the tools, you’ll also be able to customize the individual keyboard shortcut keys. Adobe tells PetaPixel that we’ll be hearing more about these upcoming features in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
