Lapsiere Rouge is a free desktop app that can sum up your time-lapse projects in a single image.
Created by software developer Gaz of Radiant Silver Labs, the program takes a folder filled with time-lapse photos and combines those images into a single shot using a variety of strategies.
“For example, if you have 1920 images, a 1920×1080 image can be produced that uses every single image in a 1 pixel slice,” Gaz tells PetaPixel. “The results can be surprising and pretty cool.”
Here’s a video showing the software in action:

Lapsiere Rouge is written in Java and should be compatible on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Download it for free here.
