Back in 2012, photography broadcaster Frederick Van Johnson conducted this short 6-minute video interview with photographer Ralph A. Clevenger, who shares the story behind his famous iceberg stock photo (which you’ve probably seen before in various forms).
Clevenger shares how the photo is actually a composite that was dreamed up by a mentor who owned a stock agency. The resulting images were enormously popular and has earned Clevenger over $900,000 so far.
