Back in July, we shared some slow-motion tests shot with the $948 Sony RX100 IV, which can shoot at up to 960fps (1000fps in PAL). Reddit user ricktheman1 just published this new test of the camera’s slow-mo capabilities.
He used a feature in the camera that lets you save the last few seconds the camera “saw.” The footage is stored in the camera’s memory and isn’t written to your memory card until you press the shutter button after you see a moment you’d like to remember. Most of the clips you see were shot at 500ps, and a few were done at 1000fps.
