David Pangborn was recently visiting Denali National Park in Alaska when his guide-led group spotted a playful grizzly bear on a nearby hill. As Pangborn pointed his Canon T2i and Tamron 18-270mm lens at it, he captured this unusual video of the bear going down the hill… by rolling.
In the 1.5-minute clip above, we hear laughs and camera shutter clicks from other tourists and photographers as the bear does its tumbling. Even the group’s guide is surprised by what he’s witnessing: “You guys are seeing something I’ve never seen before,” he says.
