In Phase One’s recent update to Capture One Pro 10, it added a new Styles & Presets tool for applying presets to images. The company has now begun selling presets in Style Packs, each containing 15 to 18 Styles.
Each Style contains pre-made adjustments that can be applied to images with a click. The Styles don’t change settings like white balance, levels and exposure, allowing users scope to edit the image before and after applying the preset.
Phase one has launched the new Styles store with 5 packs, at the price of $69 each (you can check out the working slide-able versions of the before-and-after comparisons below over on the Phase One website):
Cinematic, with 18 unique Styles.
B&W, with 15 unique Styles.
Matte, with 16 unique Styles.
Seasonal – 15 unique Styles.
Essentials, with 16 Styles compiled from the above Styles Packs.
The company is also offering up a free basic Styles Pack with 5 Styles as a trial. For more information and to download the sample pack, visit the Styles page on Phase One’s website.
