Adobe today announced Lightroom Mobile version 1.4 for Android devices. With this latest version, the photo editing app is now completely free — you don’t need an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to download and use the app.
Adobe already made Lightroom Mobile for iOS free when it released version 2.0 back in October 2015.
Lighroom Mobile was recently listed by Google as one of the top Google Play apps of 2015, and it’s designed to put powerful image editing tools at your fingertips to use wherever you are.
Android started supporting RAW photography with the release of v5.0 (Lollipop), and Lightroom for Android was soon updated to support DNG workflows as well to take advantage of the new functionality.
